Off the topic a bit----do you butter the toast before serving to guests or serve plain? Also what is considered a continental breakfast?.

Buttered, with small individual servings of jam on the side in tiny ramekin.

I guess I should have mentioned butter is on the table already and I ask what kind of jam they would like.
