Then there are days when one nighters can suit you just fine. They show up late, they leave early and you are left out of the equation emotionally and personally. You can make one breakfast for everyone, ne'r another worry about a second to suit all the dietary needs..

We have a 9-nighter coming in. I'm more stressed about that than I am about the 7 one nighters!

My town is a vacation destination. We have several long term rentals. It is an issue trying to keep breakfast interesting. :)

I don't know. We've never had a stay that long. Friends just had a 2 week stay. This is not common here.
Yes, they will get repeat meals!

Just 9 nights? That's it? I've had people here for 2 weeks at a time. Doesn't stress me much except for remembering when to change their sheets and what the last 13 breakfasts were, so I don't repeat. Heck, I've had a few that are longer than 2 weeks. They are usually easier, they get into a routine and I follow it.

So far, my longest that got breakfast was 8 nights. My long-terms do not get breakfast. And this year I have a weekly rate that has them hanging up - YES! (Come December thru February, that will NOT be the case)

We had a call today asking the rates. I gave the caller a range for the rooms that are open and was then asked how much for a week. I said, 'multiply by 7.'

7 days stay are common. We had 3 weeks stay. I do not get stressed with the breakfast - we cook to order and they have choice of 2-3 dishes. Most of the time they choose the same as day before.
