I got the PITA baton!

Guest comes down at 7am.
”I know we didn’t give you a breakfast time last night”
Me: “ What time would you like breakfast”?
Guest: ”Now”

Not fazed. I told him it would take an hour to prep. Other guests had chosen 9a and 10a. Or I could make oatmeal quickly. He asked if I had any cold cereal. No, I don’t have any boxed cereal.
He chose the oatmeal. By the time his wife was also downstairs I could have prepped the full meal deal.

I would even be mentally reaming him a new one. I grab ankles for guests - but THAT is ridiculous!

It's 8 to 9:30 at my place. You come before 8, have a cup of coffee and we'll be ready at 8. Come at 10? Let me tell you where the lunch places are in town.

Agree. We do 8-10. If you are here at 7, I cheerily point to the coffee and muffins and say, “eggs and pancakes will be ready at about eight!”
