Doing me a favor, are you?

Just heard from a repeat guest (comes to town often on business) wanting 4 nights next week. I told him I'm pretty booked, but can put him in Room A Monday and Tuesday, and move him next door to Room B Wednesday and Thursday.

He wrote back, "I hate to dirty 2 rooms. I'll just go to Days Inn this time."

Well, since I'm "pretty booked" I'll probably rent them, but no guarantee. He thinks he's doing me a favor, but I'd rather have the 4 nights booked and in the bank!!

Seems we have our share of moving people between rooms so they can stay with us, we always offer to move their luggage to the new room, give them the new door code so they can come and go without having to do a new check in. but there is only so much you can do.

I think he just didn’t want to change rooms himself. I wouldn’t because I’m one that unpacks everything
