Oh my ! that is one of my first plates when giving them fruit! Wow ! I have been doing this for 5years off and on. Depends on the people staying. I started with watermelon then just decorate it up. Some times it has goats cheese on it but most times it just a fancy way of presenting a fruit dish.

We usually cut the melons into pieces to make it easier to eat. But I love the idea of the watermelon as the base of the fruit presentation. Do you have pictures?

Works well with a pineapple round, too - leave the pineapple 'skin' on (I cut it into fourths to make it easier to eat), reassemble as a round on a plate and ate the fruit on top. good for individual plating. Doesn't look so much like a pizza as the watermelon, though.

No sorry . My guest usually take the pictures of my food that I put on my web site. I keep saying hubby we have to make this thing and take pictures of it. But we never seem to have the time.
Then this year we said while we are on holidays we will . But on holidays I just did not feel like cooking like that. So as an end result I don't have many pictures of my food. I also have made a fan out of watermelon and decorated it up.

i think it's fun! and i'd be curious as a guest if you told me you were serving breakfast pizza. i'd be thinking it's going to be eggs with tomato and some kind of bread crust. wrong!

So easy and fun. I toasted the coconut to try it but would certainly serve it without toasting too.

I have another starter . Take watermelon and cut it into pyramids then top it off with sweetened whipping cream .Make it look like snow coming down. Then shave white chocolate on top. The finial thing is to sprinkle sweetened shredded coconut on top. It will be gone before you say Jack Frost.
