Air Host gets jail time

He appealed his 2-day jail sentence when ordered to stop short-tern rental on Air. He did not stop and appealed. New Judge made it 3-days jail time and upped the fine.

Some people are just not as afraid of authority as I am! Imagine ignoring a court order. What did he think was going to happen?
Answer is, he's apparently not a thinker.

I'll bet that 3 days of jail won't do it either.... now the city should go after commercial property taxes, missing hotel taxes, etc. Around here, the fine is $2500 per DAY

You would think that that $20,050 fine would be a deterrent, but maybe he needs even more short-term rentals in order to be able to pay the fine!
