At least some general accounting guidelines would be nice. I guess since the IRS changes the rules every year, it's probably too much to ask.

What is important is there's one general writing guidelines on accounting.

Our B&B is out on the east end of Long Island, only open a few years but doing pretty well especially listing it online locally. We use a Long Island CPA firm for our accounting rather than trying to manage it ourselves even knowing quickbooks.
