Grumpy reviewer who loved breakfast, location, cleanliness. But had to complain that the bedding "..needs updating." And the TV was too small. "...as it was raining, a larger TV would have been better."
And then later, "Given the rain the location was a bit limited as we only found one restaurant nearby and had to drive to find others." What does that even mean? How does the rain somehow create the restaurant proximity?
Anyway, I told him, "Most of our beds are covered with quilts. We consider them quaint and comfortable rather than dated." AND, "We all know the weather in New England is unpredictable, which is one reason we offer two small libraries of books for rainy days."
Getting break this week. One couple this morning, and tomorrow, one person.

Gotta love it when reviewers complain about things that are out of your control -- like the weather! Seriously?! smh. I am just as confused as you are about how the rain affects the size of the TV or restaurant locations. I'm glad to hear that you're getting a break from guests for a while. It's really helpful to recharge our innkeeping "batteries"!

I had one complain that the traffic was busier than they expected - sorry can't control your "expectations!" went on the A59 this is the busiest road outside of london (ie new york equivalent) what did you expect?

One guest asked on the phone if we gave refunds if it rained while they were here.... They didn't book since we said that we didn't guaranteed the weather.
