Ugh! Website Stylesheet.CSS help

I need help. I updated my theme. Now all of a sudden I have a big old space at the top. I'm thinking it's likely part of my child theme style.css file, but I don't understand enough of it to fix it. Yes, it's just 41 lines... but do I want to tinker? NOPE. Anyone can help by emailing me and I'll send a copy and see if we can figure out why I'm getting a big space at the top of my theme?

I don't think it's the css anymore. The theme original wasn't touched and my child theme only starts after this block. I sent a note to the theme author for help.

Just an update. Told me to move the slider from their built-in slider to the standard code and now it works.
