TA is sending a photagrapher to take pictures of our inn

i find this hard to believe. TA does nothing but help itself..not innkeepers. Are you sure this is legit?

One of the reasons they want the photo is them taking over what they want displayed on their site.to make it look appealing for more bookings. B ing does the same thing. Also from what I was told Air does it too. They also have been know to put only their pictures.up and delete some on your own pixs.
Just buyer beware! Nothing in life is free.It all comes with a cost somewhere down the line!!!

I wouldn't mind that. We both have the same goal, to sell rooms, so if their professional photos are better than mine or my guests, it's ok with me.

I do recall setting an appointment up with them a couple years back (at their request). I called to cancel it because it's a waste of my time, really. I can't use their photos on my own website, and I honestly don't think people spend any time looking at the pictures of the property on TA - they're just looking for the reviews (and availability if it's there).

We had the air photographer. Air posted the pictures and we looked them over and deleted what we didn't want. They didn't take any of our pictures down and we were able to take down what we didn't want.

Do you have all of your inventory listed with them and a business listing? I've never heard of anyone having TA photographers come by for this. We have a business listing from the start and us TripConnect and they haven't called us. I do, however, have all professional photos uploaded onto their site done by Jumping Rocks so I doubt they could do better anyway.
