Stick A Fork In Me.... Check-ins Done!

A first for the summer. Guest arrived at 9:30AM to drop off luggage. My only check-in of the day. I'm DONE. Stick a fork in me. When the housekeeper leaves, I'm done for the day. One load of laundry. It's like half a day of vacation in the middle of the busy months!

We had a call at 9 last night for a family of 4. I know, deep down (and not all that deep down), that parents are not paying $200 for a separate room for their kids and another $200 for their room. I said we were out so I would give them some ideas of where to call.
They said they would wait in the parking lot for us to come back. No. I don't think so. I'm not rushing around and changing my plans because someone didn't plan ahead.

We have two rooms that are running two ac a piece since they were too hot last night and didn't sleep well…. they slept with the blanket. One room had two blankets on the bed. My aunt said, "This is why there are innkeepers forums! So we have a place to roll our eyes."
