Got a note with a reservation saying this is for her daughter and two friends for spring break. It's only one night, midweek. She asked for a recommendation to make a dinner reservation.
I suggested DH ask how old these girls are. If they are not over 21, how much do I care if they drink? Anything else to look out for? It's not like there is ANY night life around here.

response. - they are 20 and 21. Oh well, I will expect the best.
We did decide to make sure all the doors to empty rooms are locked so they don't decide to 'just use this bathroom.'

Good idea. I'd be more worried about them bringing 'boys' back with them and using the other rooms for other purposes!
However, we haven't had problems with college students whose parents paid for them to stay.
Hope the parents aren't thinking you'll watch the girls for them.

At 20 years old, pretty sure the girls have their own plans. I'm bolting the door!

If you serve alcohol, you need to lock it all away. You can't control if the 21 year old gives a glass of wine to the 20 year old, so the state will be on your case if you don't take controls.

We don't serve alcohol. I'm more worried about if they bring it with them.
In fact, I'd be surprised if they didn't bring any.

Be positive, with one eye & ear open at all times.
You can't be responsible for what they bring in unless it is non-registered guests.
But you can control it if they get too loud.
Parents most likely chose your place for a reason!

Spring break for me means my big rooms are filled with families one after the other....

You all must have too many skeletons in your closet, maybe they are there to help out with an ASB (Alternative Spring Break) event.

so ... did you ask why the parent why the girls are staying with you midweek?

I remember spring break - I worked scrubbing toilets in a girl's boarding school for $50 for the week.
Spent the rest of the year hating wealthy girls who had no respect for the people cleaning up after them.

Never went to college so never experienced Spring Break. I really do not remember having a week off from school at Easter - just Good Friday.

They were very quiet. Not a sign of booze after they left. They go to a girls' college and I am guessing the Mom wanted to get them out of the dorm for at least a night.
