did i mention it is raining here? the water tables are just so high, the rain is running out of places to go! i drove down the road today and waited for some ducks to swim across part of the road ... then i drove on the left side where there was pavement showing. yikers!

Us too. Our down town area is flooding. I am OK since I am up on a hill, but all the good restaurants are down town. Its very discouraging. Our area has already had 3 '50 year floods' within the last 8 years.

Bummer....rain can really get you down! We are blessed to finally have sunny and beautiful Spring weather! I would say that we're almost 3 weeks behind what should normally be blooming by now because of the colder temps here this year. Dogwoods have popped out today! I remember 2 years ago when we had first opened and an inn-mate (one of our very first guests) would not leave our front porch in March because everything was blooming all around her.
Hang in there and stay warm, dry, and cozy!
