Personal feedback on Exp

This is a private feedback area on Exp. (I hadn't seen it before.) We have dozens of all smiley responses. this is our first frowny response. What a pill.
Inn - frown - "not a nice inn"
Room - frown - "dirty" "no amenities" "smelled"
Location - frown - "not a nice town."
I get the opportunity to respond privately. Is it worth it to list the amenities? Such as: Ocean views, front porch, koi pond, beach across the street, shampoo and soap, extra towels, iron, hair dryer, AC, TV, refrigerator, private bathroom, hot breakfast, 24 hour coffee and tea, cookies and fruit, cold bottled water.
(I said this in another post, but), the carpet in the hallway has suffered through a very busy summer and does have stains. But the room is not dirty. And I wonder if she 'smelled' the ocean outside - at low tide, it can smell a little sea-weedy. And how can anyone come to Rockport and not like it?????????

I would not bother. What good will it to do list your amenities? You have a website. people can view it there. Just move on

To me a good answer, some folk are just unhappy people, or one guest wanted the beach and one wanted the mountains and the one who didn't get what they wanted wrote the review, the inn could have been solid gold, but the reviewer just didn't want to be there, the ocean, salt marsh smell, well sort of an acquired taste.

Hubby did a spot clean on the rug and the housekeeper cleaned the scuffs on the floor.
Not much we can do about the 'smell' of the ocean!
