Our First Weekend as Innkeepers

We survived our first weekend. I don't think we could have asked for better guests. I kinda messed up on a credit card transaction, but the guest was very understanding. Some musicians showed up on Thursday night had gave a great performance.

Congratulations! It sounds like it went great.
My husband, Jeff, and I are new innkeepers as well. We have had our inn since September, but just started serving breakfast in April. We've met some really cool people - breakfast is a great icebreaker.

That is a great point. Shelley and I have already exchange a few snappy comments...well, mostly by me. After our first weekend, we had the floors done. The guy finished with them Friday morning, so it was full tilt go go go to get ready for the incoming guests. We're not all together, but mostly together.
