Online Reviews? Where should I direct people?

A few weeks ago, I thought I sighed up for a TA listing. Still not established.
So I read through old posts, and this has me thinking, where should I have guests write reviews. I always check TA, but it sounds like it problematic at times.
So, ideas on how to follow up on the nonexistent TA listing, and where do I really want my guests to write a review?

Thanks. I guess I tried to find that, a link, or a place to suggest to TA, but couldn't see it. But I really don't have much success with getting the info I need on TA, except for reading the reviews. I will look again.
My other issue is, all my guests have been Spanish speakers. Not sure if I (or they) are up to either explaining that I need them to suggest my place, or that they can or want to.
Can some one here suggest it?

If you have their email, send them a thank you, en Español, asking for a review. You can explain because you're new it will help you. Then hope they want to help!

I ask as they leave. "If you do that sort of thing, we would love a TA review! since we're new, we could use all the reviews we can get." People loved helping us out!

TA must have changed once again. I don't see anywhere to add a new listing either. If you have already contacted TA as the owner, give it a while. Sometimes they take forever and I've read that every time you resubmit, you go to the end of the line again.
Have you tried giving them a call? Call them and tell them you are interested in the business listing. Let them give you the spiel and add you on the site. You don't have to actually take the business listing, just let them know you're interested. I bet they'd get your listing up then!

Send your guests to tripadvisor.com/UserReview -- there, they get to search for the place they want to review. If it can't be found, then they are asked to "Tell us more about it" so that TA can look into it and create a listing if one doesn't exist but the place qualifies to be listed. Send your guests to tripadvisor.com/UserReview -- there, they get to search for the place they want to review. If it can't be found, then they are asked to "Tell us more about it" so that TA can look into it and create a listing if one doesn't exist but the place qualifies to be listed. I had a little trouble with the link- it took me to a broken page, but having the picture helped ALOT!
Bottom line, I have a link in Spanish and English for our guests to start writing reviews in this manner on our FB page. It is a start! Thank you. Still need to look at google.

ha! good advice. That's what happened to me...submitted to be listed and nothing, nothing. Finally called about a business listing. Got it up that day. I did, however, take the business listing.

I recommend that you append an automatic signature to all your outgoing emails to customers.
Add to the signature links to your review places: G+, TA, your own website.
This way you don't actively beg people to leave a review, but remind them with each email that it is something they can do.
Another good reason to email your previous customers once or twice to "check up" on them.
