My place is for sale

We've been on the market just over a year now. Have had several showings, a few 2nd showings and even 3rd. People seem to love our place, but for whatever reason, it's just not 'right' for them, or the timing doesn't work. We are still hopeful.
If anyone out there is looking for a flexible, well maintained, solid, viable property, THIS IS IT! You get the keys and it's ready to go. There's nothing you have to do. There are 5 guest room suites, all with private in-suite bathrooms, flat screen tv's, small fridges, fireplaces, and sitting rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and functional with a large farmer's sink, 4-door fridge with bottom freezer, dual-fuel/double oven. Natural gas heat & hot water and the boiler is less than 5 years old. Waterproofed basement. The owners' quarters has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, living room and a finished space in the basement that we use as an office and family space. The 3rd floor is finished, and while we cannot have overnight paying guests in that space, it was ideal for our teenage daughter. Additionally, there's a separate apartment where my mother used to live with a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room and laundry room.

"PA kind of people"? Not sure what that is supposed to mean. You don't like the weather? Fair enough. I'll admit the liquor laws need to be brought into the 21st century. Taxes can be a factor, but, hey, at least we're not NJ. LOL

We're still hanging in there. We've gotten SO CLOSE a few different times, but for various reasons, the deal fell through. One couple visited 3 different times over the course of a week or so, and brought 8 different people through the place. Then the woman's mom, who lives with them and was going to move in too, decided that she wasn't ready to move. Another couple found out after we started negotiations that they couldn't use their retirement funds for the downpayment if they intended to continue working for the company. UGH!
