Late sleepers

Group here for a wedding. Arrived late. Only 2 showed for breakfast. Their attitude was the others would sleep in.
We cleaned as best we could as they have the suite. The adjoining doors were closed, we didn't knock.
Just now see them coming back in. Somehow they got out! We never heard or saw them at all. Never heard the shower run, nothing.
Sigh.

Better still, this morning their car is gone. I saw it leave at midnight but thought they were headed to an after party.

Better still, this morning their car is gone. I saw it leave at midnight but thought they were headed to an after party.

The car came back at 7:45. They were all gone, without breakfast by 8. This after me specifically asking yesterday if they would be here for breakfast. They knew yesterday they had to leave to catch their flight.

Well, good..."A day to yourself then?" Hahahaha...I just love it when my guests ask this question. Why yes, because you are leaving, I get to lounge around ALLLLLLL day and do absolutely nothing!

Two words rude and inconsiderate . No matter what their is.

Today is my wonderful housekeeper's last day. Sigh. I'm going to miss her. Trying to catch up on everything right now. Make sure my house is clean, laundry is caught up, all of it. No more goofing off tomorrow.

We had the same inconsiderate *grrrr*'s this weekend. She specifically asked what she should do if they are not eating breakfast. I told her there was paper & pen in the kitchen - just leave us a note the night before so we don't waste any food. Saturday, no show, no note, no apologies. Sunday, no note. Saw them loading their car & went outside to ask if they were eating. "Oh, no, we are leaving. Thank you, it's been lovely." I wanted to tell her about herself so bad!!
Rudeness was all around us this weekend, I was grumbling all day yesterday. Then today $60 in tips. I stopped grumbling lol
