I heard on the radio yesterday that Google offered to buy Groupon and was turned down. Whoever was talking about it was saying, I would have taken the money and run. The "social media" changes so fast, who knows what will be the thing tomorrow. They sited how Facebook obliterated MySpace.

Yes that is why I posted that.

Also just saw today's groupon near us which is a carpet cleaner. Am I the only one who feels that the deal will entail more SELLING once you redeem it? I mean, that is how carpet cleaners make their living!
