How to keep interest in your place?

Morning- sun is shinning and yesterday we closed on our place in Mexico. We are still in Colorado till June. I am now the admin on the FB account (no website, working on that...).
Do you have a unique suggestion for the FIRST post by us, the new owners? And any other suggestions on how to keep us in peoples thoughts till we get there? (by the way, I love the MC b&b that posts in both languages- going to try that on as well- very inclusive!)
I thought about a daily post that introduces us to our customers, but wanted to see if you had any other ideas. I just want to create some excitement and interest. Most were really sad to see the prior owner go (retired).

how many followers does the place have? remember you are only posting to them.
get the website up and running Fast! And direct them their with your posts etc.

Why not share a photo and introduction? I would do that. "we look forward to serving you at xyz B&B and restaurant" ...

An announcement of when opening day is and how excited you are to meet all the new friends.

Congrats!
Introduce yourselves with a photo. Say how happy you are to be taking over. Post photos of the beach, water, menu items on a daily basis.
If you're going to have a grand opening special post that closer to the date when you can make reservations.

the title is throwing me "How to keep interest in your place?"
Does it have some massive following or something? How to GENERATE interest in your place may be what I would consider. You are prob getting the cart before the horse, btw FB marketing is not what you think, you have to pay to be seen nowadays, as Empty Nest said the website should be a priority. 100%. Not a home spun website either, a professional website with great photos. Get it together now and then get the photos when you are onsite...

Are you on good terms with the old owner? If so, I would ask them to introduce you on a post, but ONLY if they are willing to be really positive. Then I would post a picture as the new owners, tell them about yourselves and why you fell in love with the property and how excited you are to start this new adventure.

Thank you for your suggestions. The webpage is a priority. The problem was we just weren't sure if the sale was going to happen. One of the owners died in the middle of the purchase and since this is in another country, there were ALOT of things to take care of. But anyway, it happened, and now here we are.
As for the fb reach, it was pretty established. They just started over on a new page (business) and had about 150 likes, not much but the area is not that big and they really only targeted English speakers, we plan to target Spanish as well (maybe Mayan also?) My circle on FB has added about 25 more since last night, so it is growing and want to use that.
So, as for the suggestions, I have written them down and will use them to get started. We aren't there yet so really need things I can state. You have given me a good starting place. Thanks!
