Holiday Weekends Sometimes Suck

So far... guest arrives on Th and I get 2 calls after midnight about cancelling other days (bad leg, needs to pee often.) Rooms resold. Guest in room with Q bed... arrives with 3rd in tow. WTF do I do? Not my problem you booked a room for 2 and forgot you had a child... don't want to argue, let it slide, your problem on how you are going to let her sleep. 2 guests still haven't arrived (but have self check-in anyway). Specific is at a family gathering. Mom is back in Emergency because she's not absorbing anti-seizure meds. I'm on Rizzoli&Isles season 3. Leftovers for dinner. It's going to be a LONG weekend.
What makes long weekends bring out the weirdos that belong in Maine?

I guess the weirdos are making the rounds before winter set in. We had them last weekend. Generic has them this weekend. Wonder who will report them next?

Well lunch was the corn that I made yesterday but forgot to eat. Dinner was a General Tso mix with rice that Specific left over (made from a 1/2 price packet from the supermarket.)

Just ate a bowl of cereal then found out we are having cheese, crackers, and champagne….sparkling grape juice just for me since I don't drink the other stuff. The summer's helps party to end their time here at our place….

• A cancellation because guest didn't read that we have stairs and it wasn't ensuite
• Guest who booked that cancellation complained about the stairs and not having ensuite, even though they knew it when booked and keeps on trying to get me to switch his to a mythological room on a lower floor with an ensuite. Apparently, my house is somewhat like a Tardis, bigger on the inside than on the outside and I'm hiding rooms somewhere.
• Guest who booked a small room and showed up with a small child who I have to assume slept hung like a bat in the closet, because there really is no where else that they could have slept.
• Guest who booked for two-ish (they had a third sleep in bed, but disappear before breakfast... I saw them walk in on camera.)
• Guest who thought it was acceptable to take breakfast items with them, as if it's not stealing (because in my eyes, I serve breakfast, not lunch, dinner and snacks).
• And just now, a room for 2 that showed up with a small infant child (maybe 2 years old) for one night.

You need to get the government to secure your border better.

They are sneaking over the border late at night….
We have a dream from time to time that the door that is sealed, we open up with a key and its a hall with doors which open up to more guest rooms with bathrooms, complete with furniture, etc. In reality at one time it was a stairway; the other half of the stairs are still there behind the shower wall.

You don't have to pay for the people you don't claim on the reservation form.
I charge for every person in the party. You show up with a kid, if I don't tell you to take a hike, you pay for that extra body whether they sleep on the floor or hang in the closet.
