Doorbell rang at about 10:30. We would usually be in bed by then, but for some reason, we were still up.
Went to open the door. It was a family of regular guests. They stay with us several times a year. They know their way around. They apologized, but couldn't get in because someone had locked the storm door!
Everyone has a key to the front door, but the storm door can only be locked and unlocked from the inside.
Checked this morning and the storm door was locked again. Hubby will tell our (notoriously) helpful guest to only lock the main door.

I hid the key to my front door (well, removed it from the lock where we kept it for looks and put it in our area) because a helpful guest would lock the door when she came in from Chapel at Midnight. We lock to the outside world with the button in the door lock that still allows turn knob and exit from inside. Locking with key LOCKS it both sides. I like the escape feature in case of emergency. Love those old doors.

This guest also told us the TV remote battery was dead. Before Hubby could get up from his chair, the guest told us, "But I replaced it, so it's all set."
He is a one of our favorite repeat guests. He and his wife had vacationed in this area forever. She died two years ago and this is his first trip back since then. So he wants to be of help. I imagine he's a little bored without her. And we know he's sad. He joins us for cocktails each evening. We really love him!

That's a popular complaint that most times means the guest played with the TV or remote and got something out of order with ours.

Bless his helpful heart, and bless you for your kindness.

If I didn't want this to happen again, I'd find a way to disable that storm door lock.

Here it usually means the power is off at the wall.

Yes used to have that one too as the light switch also turned off the TV until we rewired to correct that, but some guests just seem to be able to create problems.
