Feeling a little out of place

Hey everyone! I just joined two days ago and its so nice to read all these posts and questions. And finally somewhere I can vent where others know what I'm talking about. lol....but is this a place for just B&Bs? We don't manage a B&B but a small 10 room Inn (we call it an Inn) but I guess its actually a Motel.

You're not by yourself, we are an 8 room mom and pop motel and I'm pretty sure I've seen others here on the forum as well. I feel with our tiny size we fit better here than with the usual motels groups. We don't serve breakfast, but as much as possible attempt to offer the charm of a smaller, friendlier business. I've enjoyed my time on the forum and feel I've made a lot of friends, hope you enjoy your time here as well.

I am a BnB and Vacation rental . Breakfast is room service ,ordered the night before . So your not the only different one here. All BnB's are unique , that's what makes then so special !

No you are welcome here! its more about the small independent working hard to provide good service - we appreciate the properties who find us here are ones that don't necessarily fit into a conventional box but everyone has something to contribute.

There are innkeepers here from Wa State so if you wanted to share your location/url for your B&B you could a) have some of those innkeepers help promote your place online (on facebook etc) or b) have feedback from seasoned innkeepers. or c) don't share it at all, and just come here and join the fun.

Welcome! We're all different but we all live the life of innkeepers. And as a very wise innkeeper has said "Innkeeping is not for wimps". That's one of the bonds that hold us together.
