Day off

First day with no guests since May. 5 check outs. Empty house. No check ins.
Golf, then out to dinner, then football (Go Pats!), then no alarm! Sleep in.

Joy.
We had 5 nights off two weeks ago to visit the Western Isles for the first time. That was our first break since June.
4 more weeks until holiday time. weeee, although it goes considerably quieter from next weekend, in fact it's very quiet. Was talking to friends yesterday and they were saying their bookings drop off a cliff after next weekend too. Strange!

We're going on an 11-day cruise in November. It's the carrot we keep holding in front of us to keep us moving through the crazy wedding/fall foliage season.

Poppa loves to tease guests by saying our dog was born in the South of the Border country out that way.
Only got as far as GT and RSP today. Had a great oyster BLT in your town though.
