Another fairly useless observation from JB. But worth mentioning...
The french toast I got with my meal was a thin slice of bread, cut in half. So it was just one piece. Now the interesting part of this was, when I took a bite I got a mouthful of cinnamon. They sprinkled it on AFTER the f.t. was cooked, not during or before. It was NOT pleasant.
Being short order, they could be doing this to preserve their grill, which would be my first inclination. But today as I made this dish, and I recalled the mouthful of cinnamon, and did a mental blech!.
