We're planning to try the instant homemade ice cream.
Seems like that might be an interesting sweet to offer at breakfast, with the different fruits and such for variety..
I have made frozen yogurt with fruit, and served it for breakfast. Great in the summer!Arks said:We're planning to try the instant homemade ice cream.

Trying the cinnamon rolls in the waffle iron tomorrow. Our guinea pig guests are back. ;-).
We stopped making them Mads. They cin was sticking and burning to the waffle iron, and then it was an icky taste. Maybe we didn't clean it out very well, not sure We made them for a while, "Wafflings" remember? They were a neat little starter course...Madeleine said:Trying the cinnamon rolls in the waffle iron tomorrow. Our guinea pig guests are back. ;-)

Read that a lot on the website. Going to try lower heat than regular waffling. Hope it works. The back up plan is to put them in the oven!Trying the cinnamon rolls in the waffle iron tomorrow. Wonder if lots of cooking spray, both on the iron and the dough, would help..
Yes it does. But after a while it seems to build up way in the crevices where you cannot accurately clean the waffle iron. It would be worht just buying one and using it for a whole season JUST for this upurpose. That is what i actyally thought baout doing./ <that is my real typicng and spelling) sheesh...bye where is that coffee!Arks said:Wonder if lots of cooking spray, both on the iron and the dough, would help.
You likely could cook french toast in the waffle maker as a way to "clear up" the residue. Or could you spray with oven cleaner?Wonder if lots of cooking spray, both on the iron and the dough, would help..Yes it does. We're only going to make 4 and our waffler comes apart to soak. So we don't have to make a lot of them. You likely could cook french toast in the waffle maker as a way to "clear up" the residue.
