    I am sorry. It's so hard to have a dream fall apart. This is a little Pollyanna-ish, but a better deal is coming. We had a contract on our place 2 years ago. That fell apart. Then we waited out the pandemic and got another offer. The right place/time/deal is out there.

    We no longer require signing anything. It helps when you have this kind of situation. We also charge the card in advance, so if there’s an issue the card holder generally gets a notification that the card has been used and can call if it’s not authorized.

    yeah, it stunk. however, being the people we are we have made good use of the stories to amuse our friends. the usps guy who delivered the urn to us in a box with about 27 labels that said ‘cremated remains’? Priceless.

    Love rosemary and mint! I’ll have to check to see if we have suave in that scent at the store here. I used to get that high end product until they changed the formula. Now it smells like chemicals.

    @Arks I usually do a full clean out Sunday afternoon. If anyone is still here, I put them back in. Tomorrow everyone checks out so I’ll empty the guest fridge and the door codes at the same time.

    Yes! They are too small! (Or, my head’s too big.) if you try to pile them up to sit up reading they don’t work.
