Hotels are doing away with stationery and providing laptops in rooms and/or several ports to connect

We've (b&b's) been talking about providing plenty of plugins and ports for years ... and many still provide stationery. I think a well run b&b is much more in tune with its guests and what they want. We hear right from guests in real time what they like/want/need/wish they had.

But they've got boxes of the things that need to be used up. If a notepad is provided I always use that.

This past season really took it out of me. Got to the point of little strength in my hands. On a grocery run in August the checker could see I was having a little trouble and followed me out to the car to carry and put away my bags. Normally this would never happen. That day I was really grateful.
I'm concentrating on doing things a bit differently now. That plus just way less busy has returned some strength and taken away the tingles. I am learning to ask for help if needed.

Got lamps very similar to this for the new vacation rental. The ones I got are similar in design but have two outlets. I plug in my own charger too. In the B&B, the outlets are right beside the beds and nightstands.

I'm concentrating on doing things a bit differently now. That plus just way less busy has returned some strength and taken away the tingles. I am learning to ask for help if needed.

My mom and her friends do strength training from this place...they tested it out in nursing homes before publishing the book so its not hard at all. I think she's at her best now and she over the hill.

Miya because schools can't keep up with the technology. Schools do not teach in real time and are for the most part behind on a lot of things. Kinda like a new computer. In less than a year it's out of date. Schools might use the same books and info for years. Our schools here are paperless. The new generation of customers are not going to use paper and pens. That info will be talked about in history class. "Now class, this is called paper. This is what people would write on to send a letter in the mail or write notes." (Students) "How did people send that through email?" Times are changing! Keep up or get lost that's our options!
