What will you be serving on Thanksgiving?
We have four rooms all booked for Wed. night and Thurs. night.
On Thursday breakfast, we are serving apple crisp and pumpkin muffins (the spice cake recipe.) With yogurt, cereals, hard boiled eggs, juice, etc.)
On Friday morning, we will serve a cranberry coffee cake and an oatmeal bar. (with the above regular stuff.)
Do you splurge and do pumpkin pancakes? Or turkey quiche? Other ideas? Does anyone serve pie?

Pumpkin pancakes (the only pancakes I like!), pumpkin bread, home made Cinnamon rolls,
for dinner, homemade rolls, veggie tray, pineapple boats, olives, pickles etc... Turkey, cranberry stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, glorified rice fruit salad, cranberry relish, cranberry sauce, and for dessert, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, maybe a pecan pie, don't think my family will eat it tho, cuz they aren't big on sweets (of any kind).
We will have a few folks here that have no one to celebrate Thanksgiving with, so we will have a full house. The best way to celebrate! I LOVE a full house for the holidays!

The timekeeper for the Turkey Trot 5K stays here Wed, night every year He is a vegan. He already had the organizer of the Turkey Trot call to ask if he could have the baked oatmeal I served last year. That is also what my Guests will get when they have breakfast a bit later than him. I think he eats at 5 AM so he can have everything set up by 7 AM when the race starts.
I have no clue what I will be serving Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

It sounds great, but our specialty on Thanksgiving is to be closed. I do love a good fresh cranberry relish/jam and that's easy to make.

The Helen Druth Cranberry Sauce that is in the recipes here is a specialty here. Raspberry jello (but you would not know jello is in it), drained crushed pineapple, walnuts (or pecans), crushed cranberries, and sugar. Easy to make and so good my BOYS have called for the recipe.
Pumpkin chocolate chip muffins will also be on the menu. I may even offer some of my pumpkin ie - it has bourbon or whiskey in it and since I have Irish Whiskey in the house THAT is what will be in the pies.
