That's what I thought. In this state there is a limit of one hour for holds of that kind.So don't ask me how hotels do this and hold the auth for 5 days or more until you check-out. Or how car rentals hold well over the total car rental amount. I'll have to pick up the brochure at the tourist info next time I'm there. Maybe it only applies to restaurants.
