I ordered a pair of barstools on line from a large retailer whose name starts with Se and end with ars.
I called 30 minutes later and tried to cancel my order. Can't. I have to wait until it is delivered and 'refuse delivery.' What a waste of my time, the wearhouse' time, the UPS driver's time, the guy who has to receive it back's time and of course, the money to ship it twice.
azzholes. Yes, I'm po'd. At myself for ordering the wrong size and at them for being a giant retailer who doesn't have any customer service.
(it does say, chat, VENT, etc., right?)

You know they didn't even have the paperwork processed yet!

We are with you because of the debacle we just went through with the fried TV. First we had to be able to prove we had the warranty (should have been in their records), then we had to wait for parts that never did arrive. The repairman came twice but could do nothing without the parts. I finally, after almost a month said get him a new TV. He was using the one I bought to replace the fried TV (Gillum Room of course) upstairs and I was playing musical chairs with TVs when the Harris was booked instead of the Gillum. It has soured us on that box store also - 3 of the 4 major appliances in my kitchen came from them. May be the last of them..

Did you try asking for a supervisor?
No wonder they have closed many stores including the one here. And I thought that when they bought the K of Marts that it would help that chain, nope not at all. Both are sinking fast.

We haven't been back into the store since we bought a flat screen tv for our kitchen. The sales kid (not man, not guy...kid!) tried to tell my husband that he would not sell him the TV unless we also purchased a $50 surge protector for it. He went on to say that without the surge protector, we really shouldn't buy the TV at all - it was just throwing our money down the drain. Mind you, the TV only cost $150 or so. But the funny part is that my husband is in audio/video sales and the man knows his cords and cables! Right there, he told the kid he was full of BS and we demanded to see a manger. What an idiot!! The manager wasn't much better. I wonder how many of these $50 surge protectors this kid sold that way to unsuspecting customers. UGH!

they are probably going to hit you with a re-stocking fee.
