Test your online reviews, do the pass the straight face test?
It's either not 100% accurate, they claim 90% accuracy, or some people should be writing reviews for a living.

I know all my reviews were written by real people who have stayed here. If you have any head scratchers, pop them into the reviewer to see what it says.

Pretty sure ours are all real. But the reviewer is awesome.

As I knew they would, a lot of our reviews show as deceptive. They are all real. We have so many guests who do over the top reviews, but it's the way they really feel. I hope this site and ones like it don't get used much by my prospective guests.

I just checked it.... with reviews that I know are fake and reviews that I know are real. It's awful! One of the two new great reviews I have, it called fake. And most of the fake reviews from another innkeeper, it called true.
Of course now, anyone who wants to write a fake review, has a place to check it....

Just the site itself can be hard to use for the reasons you mention. The story I pulled the website from had more instruction on how to spot the fakes.
However, if I were writing reviews for money, id run them thru this program and then tweak them to pass muster.
