wish to adapt my period 1785 home to current CT code for a B&B-need to find a lightweight closure for bedroom doors-anyone have any ideas?

Are these so the doors close automatically? Are you looking for something that sort of blends in with your doors? IE - less industrial and more antique?

You can choose how much tensile strength you put. We have them on a number of doors.
