How much extra would you charge?
If a guest request housekeeping service everyday, don't you do it? I would charge them a minimal fee (10.00) and hope they tell the world what a great place you have and how you are willing to accomodate your guest. Linen Service
We do have someone to help clean and do laundry. To wash, dry, fold, then iron and steam the sheets takes so long and it is a lot less expensive and saves on water, electricity and wear and tear on the machines using a service. you can order them online from several place. I love an arrangement in the rooms - they look real and with a rose scented spray, they smell real - for a while anyway. They are inexpensive and a great add-on for a package. I use real filler and greens or treated ones to fill out the...- kattrin

One thing you learned from YOUR STAY at another inn that you have implemented?
We have started putting a large thermos of coffee outside the rooms very early in the morning for the early risers with a big comfortable chair beside the table. The guests can then take their coffee back to their rooms or sit with a book or newspaper and not disturb their spouse. The guests...- kattrin

Does anyone use a linen service? We have 11 rooms and we are ironing and steaming the sheets in the main house (4 rooms) but just washing and drying in the annex. Oddest guest request?
The state of NC requires an inn to have a safe available for guest use. We have a safe that was installed in 1935 when the house was build - we just don't have the combination. Does that count??- kattrin
