    Go with an Intel processor and as much memory as the thing will handle. In fact if it is a choice between the fastest processor with less memory or a slower processor with more memory, go for the MOST memory. As far as brands... I've been partial to Dell, but I can't say there is good reason...

    YES!!! Well .. I guess there will be, but they will be mine and I can do it on MY schedule, not on someone else's. That is the biggest thing I hope to get back... control over my own time and schedule. No more waiting waiting waiting for guests.

    It is official. We are innkeepers no more. The last guests checked out on Sunday, the rooms are now all cleaned and done. Our property sold (not closed yet) and the new owner is not planning to run a B&B. We'd have done more celebrating of "the end," if we weren't so busy with packing up...
