I live in a small city in West Virginia (pop over 2000 qualifies as a city). I got here as fast as I could. I had to do what I call a "24 year sentence" in Illinois before I could come "home" to WV.
- I am rah-rah you can do it but also blunt and to the point
- Have been an innkeeper for 26 years (start-up)
- Teach Aspiring Innkeeper Seminars and Marketing Workshops
- Have co-written marketing tips columns
- Am very involved in my City, State, and State B & B Association
- Have been known to be snarky
- Basically run my 3-guestroom B & B alone
- Enjoy "beating on things" with two Community Bands
- Do special needs breakfasts (gluten-free, lactose-free, etc)
